Revanesse® Lips™+ is a hyaluronic acid (HA) filler that is specially created for lip filler injections. As a cousin to Versa™ (and sometimes confused as “Versa™ Lips”), the Lips™+ filler is produced by Prollenium Medical Technologies under the Revanesse® line of fillers. It is one of the most frequently used fillers for lip augmentation in the United States because it is solely designed for lip injections.
FDA-approved in 2020, Revanesse® Lips™+ is intended for augmentation of the lips. Since then, the pink Lips™+ box has become a recognizable brand in aesthetics among injectors and patients alike.
The main ingredient in Revanesse® Lips™+ is hyaluronic acid (HA). HAs are naturally occurring moisturizing molecules that are present in the skin and body. The water-attracting and water-binding properties of hyaluronic acid are highly praised and make HA the perfect ingredient for soft, kissable lip enhancements. Hyaluronic acid is even thought to be capable of holding 1,000 times its weight in water, according to some estimations. More current estimates are still impressive, but not as high.
Similar to other modern HA lip fillers such as Volbella, Lips™+ uses a cross-linked technology where long strings of HA molecules are connected to one another. This cross-link creates a net-like structure inside of the HA filler gel, which helps the filler keep its shape and last longer.
In addition to HA molecules, Revanesse® Lips™+ contains a numbing agent inserted into the filler gel. The “+” sign in “Lips™+” refers to the addition of lidocaine, a common local numbing agent used in modern dermal fillers. The added lidocaine in Lips™+ reduces discomfort for patients and is safe for most all patients, except those with known lidocaine allergies or those with a history of adverse reactions to lidocaine.

How Long Does Lips+ Last?
Lip filler results may not last as long as other filler areas because the lips are used all day, every day–whether eating, drinking, speaking, breathing, or even sleeping (that is, if you snore or mouth-breathe during sleep). Because of these factors, we’ve seen Revanesse® Lips™+ results last up to six months.
Not every person likes the look of augmented lips. Luckily, HA fillers such as Revanesse® Lips™+ can be “reversed” with specific enzymes that dissolve hyaluronic acid.

Revanesse Lips+ Cost: What Does it Cost?
The cost of Revanesse® Lips™+ varies widely between providers, depending on the injector’s experience and the region of the country in which they practice.
In the hands of an experienced injector, a 1.2ml syringe of Revanesse® Lips™+ costs up to $800. The advantage is that, while Revanesse® Lips™+ is around the same price as other lip fillers, each syringe of Lips+ contains 20% more filler gel than usual, which can be a better value when compared to other lip fillers.
Not every lip needs the same amount of filler. While many injectors charge by the syringe, the final cost of any lip injection will vary based on the patient’s lip anatomy and their desired results.
Many patients want to avoid the “celebrity” lip filler look but still could benefit from a little extra lip volume. For those seeking a more subtle appearance, smaller amounts of filler (like in our Petite Pout Signature Look) can be used for beautiful, natural-looking lip filler results.
