Volbella lips have become one of the most popular choices for lip augmentation. Due to Volbella’s beautiful results and long-lasting nature, this lip filler has found its way into faces from coast to coast. In our 2022 deep dive, we are exploring everything related to Volbella, including Volbella lip injections cost, Volbella lip filler before and after photos, and more.

Treatment Overview

Volbella is a hyaluronic acid (HA filler) that is part of the Juvéderm family, manufactured by Allergan, and it is one of the most popular fillers for lip augmentation in the United States.

Volbella was FDA-approved in 2016 for lip augmentation and treatment of lip lines. Since then, Volbella lip filler has become one of the most popular choices for lip augmentation procedures.

Like all Juvéderm products, Volbella’s main ingredient is hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally-occurring moisturizing molecule that is found in the skin and body. Hyaluronic acid is extremely sensitive to water, and is known to attract and retain water very well. Some estimates claim that hyaluronic acid can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water, though recent estimates are still impressive, but not as high.

Volbella is known to use Juvéderm’s Vycross Technology, which links the HA molecules inside of the filler to provide better volume and extend the duration of result. Also as an added bonus, Juvéderm Volbella’s formulation includes lidocaine numbing for additional comfort during treatment.

Since the lips get frequently used, lip filler results may not last as long as other filler results. With Volbella, we’ve seen results last up to six months, and like most HA lip fillers, Volbella can be “reversed” using a variety of enzymes that dissolve hyaluronic acid.

Volbella Lip Injections Cost: What Will It Run Me?

Price of Juvederm Volbella & Volbella Cost

The cost of Vobella for lips varies largely between providers depending on the experience of the injector and the region of the country they practice in.

A 1ml syringe of Volbella can run upwards of $800 in the hands of an experienced injector.

Not all lips need the same amount of filler. While many practices have a price per syringe, the cost of lip injections varies depending on the patient and the desired results.

Many patients do not want the “celebrity” lip filler look, but could benefit from some modest volume. For those who are looking for a subtle look (like our Petite Pout), you may need less than a full 1ml syringe.

For those patients who desire the Hollywood lip look, several syringes may be required over a few months to allow their Volbella lips to safely reach a beautiful, long-lasting result.
